Being a big fan of the new Cayman GT4, I was very excited when a returning client booked theirs in for a New Car Detail and IGL Quartz ceramic coating, not knowing were it would go from here.
Arrival Day -
As part of all our detailing packages the first stage is a full safe wash and decontamination. (Our safe wash guide can be found here)
Once we are happy that the vehicle is ready, it is bought inside for a full paint inspection followed by preparation for machine polishing. As part of the paint inspection we go round the whole vehicle panel by panel, making notes of any imperfections and paint depths to gauge how we approach the the next step, machine polishing.
We then proceed to machine polish the vehicle, this not only corrects any imperfections but also ensures the paint is clean ready for final coating prep and then coating.
We then applied IGL Quartz to the painted surfaces of the vehicle and IGL Trim to the front splitter and rear diffuser.
Once the GT4 had been thoroughly inspected for high-spots, it is then left overnight to cure prior to application of IGL Premier and finishing touches are made, warranty card and IGL documentation are completed ready for collection.
